It’s been a busy few months for us here at Hurricane, which has seen us produce some great video and motion graphics content for a variety of exciting brands. Many of the projects that we work on are of a strategic nature and therefore are highly confidential, at Hurricane we take client confidentiality very seriously. In terms of projects that we can tell you about, we have just finished working on a promo film for the launch of the new Special edition Peugeot Millesim range.
In 2010 Peugeot are celebrating their bicentennial, to mark their 200th anniversary they are reflecting on their proud heritage and looking ahead to a dynamic future with a range of new models. Peugeot’s illustrious history began with production of textiles and metallurgy, producing an extensive range of saw blades and peppermills. In 1880 Peugeot launched their first range of bicycles, including some of the first powered motorcycles. By 1890 Peugeot had started work on their first automobile, the design of which rapidly evolved in the early part of the twentieth century. Peugeot is now ranked as Europe’s second largest carmaker and is recognised as one of the world’s best known family businesses.
To mark this historic anniversary Peugeot have launched the Peugeot Millesim range of special edition vehicles featuring enhanced levels of interior and exterior trim. We worked with BBC presenter Ginny Buckley, ex Motoring Editor of the News of the World on the project. We produced a short film to launch the new models including new versions of the 107, 207, 207 SW and 308. Back in May we took to the streets of sunny Bristol with Ginny and 3 of the new models to test for the day.
The film we produced is available to be viewed in Peugeot dealerships across the UK as well as on the Peugeot website.
The promotional film is the latest content that we have produced for Peugeot, following on from the hugely successful Peugeot RCZ promo film which we produced to launch the stunning new sports coupe.
