Before launching Hurricane, Jon was a broadcast TV director, creating award winning documentaries for the BBC. Since moving into commercials he has led teams on projects for international brands across a wide range of industries. Jon is focused on video strategy, leading the Hurricane team to deliver a great customer experience and create high quality productions that surpass the brief. Author of "Video Marketing Strategy: Harness the power of online video for brand growth (Kogan Page, 2018), he is a regular speaker at conferences on video marketing, social media and brand storytelling.
Alex previously spent 9 years producing television entertainment shows, winning an 'RTS team award' with his team at Endemol. For the last three years he has produced and developed commercial content for BMW, InterContinental Hotel Group, Mercedes Benz and BBC Storyworks. Here at Hurricane Alex develops creative content ideas for a variety of campaigns for new and existing customers.
Jules is a highly experienced studio manager having worked at a number of respected digital agencies before joining Hurricane. She is the key point of contact between creative and production, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery on all of our projects.
Claire developed and produced documentary and reality TV in London before moving to Bristol to produce animation and video content for clients including HSBC, Gtech, Merck, Vodafone, Pearson and Herman Miller. She is currently working on a range of projects for Hurricane clients in pharma, public sector and tech.
With twelve years agency and publisher experience under his belt, Duncan leads our in-house strategy and client solutions team. He gets to the heart of our clients challenges and develops strategic marketing plans, to produce unique insights that generate maximum impact. Previously, Duncan has written creative strategy and delivery plans for brands including Oakley, TalkTalk, Haagen Diaz, AXA and Monarch Airlines.
Fran is a highly accomplished compositor and motion designer. She has created numerous films, TV ads, pop promos and brand films with design credits including Franz Ferdinand, Goldfrapp and Coldplay. At Hurricane she works across the entire range of our output to deliver creative graphic solutions, compositing and special effects.
John is a multi-skilled creative with experience in both the conception and delivery of successful video marketing campaigns for top brands. His creative work on a campaign of reactive Instagram animations for HTC achieved record views for the client. John fulfils a diverse role at Hurricane, designing and crafting campaign ideas and video concepts for our clients and leading the design team.
A business development specialist with a wide range of experience within creative agencies, Suzannah focuses on raising awareness of what we do and building strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Carolyn is a highly experienced social media specialist who puts her expertise to work for Hurricane and our clients. She joined us after working in range of sectors and has delivered effective campaigns for media, technology, not for profit, higher education and the RAC. She has also volunteered as Communications Officer with Raleigh International in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
Tom is a highly experienced Senior motion designer and 3D animator. He's created projects for a host of clients including AXA, Ericsson, TEVA, Infiniti and Saab. He delivers our 3D animation output as well as leading the team on motion graphics projects.
Dawn brings chartered accountancy to Hurricane and keeps all the financial systems working smoothly.
Dan joined Hurricane in 2012 after showing great potential as a runner on a studio shoot. He has spent the last 6 years developing and honing his camera and post production skills, becoming an integral part of the production team. In addition to shoots and editing Dan also keeps the camera kit prepped and the edit suites running without a hitch. In his spare time he creates his own short films and documentaries, recently winning a string of online awards.
