A truly innovative use of the GIF format to produce a Stereo 3D effect without the need for glasses. Portland-based art director Matt Moore used 3D lens to take stereoscopic photographs for his latest project, and then instead of layering these, Moore simply turned them into twitching GIF images, mimicking 3 dimensions, without the use of glasses, creating these stunning animations with only two frames.
Is this a glimpse into the future of glasses free 3D, or just an eye-bendingly-beautiful experiment?
