RSSMy Night on a Rooftop in Nelson Street, Bristol with El Mac - 'See No Evil'
This week Nelson Street in Central Bristol is being transformed into one of the largest urban art installations in Europe. We're currently working on a number of films to promote the event and capture the artists work for posterity. I spent last night sat on a rooftop with El Mac, an artist world renowned for his lifelike renderings of faces and figures. Having seen his work first hand I can only say the things that this man can do with a can of spraypaint are truly incredible, it's amazing to think that the photoreal images he creates have come from the nozzle a spraycan. I was on location until 7am this morning capturing a time-lapse of his stencil for the documentary and quite frankly I'm shattered, so I'll write more over the coming days about what we got up to but for now I thought I'd share a few pictures of the night:
BTW my photography skills will probably go some way to explaining why I'm business development manager here at Hurricane and not a photographer. Scroll to the gallery view at the bottom of the page to view full size images.

If you live in Bristol and you're interested in street art then some of the very best artists in the world are in town right now, you really should take the opportunity to meet them and see them at work.
