Videos for professional bodies and trade associations
We work with membership organisations varying in size from small voluntary groups to renowned international organisations to help them promote their work and connect members. We create videos and campaigns that help trade associations encourage interaction, facilitate collaboration, increase membership and promote thinking.
We are experienced at developing strategies and video marketing campaigns to enable professional associations to communicate their complex messages to multiple audiences.
Our experience with trade associations
Our clients include the General Medical Council, Institute of Physics, GSM Association, Soil Association and its Food For Life Partnership, Together for Short Lives and more.
Trade association case study: GSMA
The GSM Association represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide. Spanning more than 220 countries and uniting nearly 800 of the world’s mobile operators, as well as more than 200 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem.
We have made a number of films with the GSMA. In one such film our task was to develop a creative solution that clearly explained a vision of the future where connected technology improves peoples lives. The concept, known as “Connected World”, is wide ranging and very complex, and the creative challenge was to condense a broad set of messages into a compelling narrative.
The end results have been really rewarding as we were able to crack the essence of the subject in our early stage creative. We communicated GSMA’s vision of a connected future by representing users as their very own world of technology. We travel around this world and the viewer sees different ways that the user can make the most of connected technology.
The first stage in our process was to look at how to represent the user. With that stage complete we focused on the look and feel of the film.
The project was modelled and animated in 3D and we built entire landscapes from scratch to bring the vision of the future to life in a short marketing video.
The film was delivered for Mobile World Congress (MWC) in both English and simplified Chinese.
