‘Who’s Lenny’ is up for ‘Best Short Film’ at the RTS West Awards.

31st January 2012

We’ve just received confirmation that ‘Who’s Lenny?’ a documentary which we produced for Bristol City Council, has been nominated for ‘Best Short Film’ in the RTS West of England Awards.  The film was produced over the Summer, looking at the See No Evil street art project which transformed one of Bristol’s most dilapidated streets into one of the largest urban art spaces in Europe.  The film also looks at the key role Bristol has played in the global street art movement featuring interviews with leading artists such as Nick Walker, Inkie, El Mac, Tats Cru and other artists who have together helped to make Bristol synonymous with street art.

The RTS Awards are designed to celebrate and recognise the very best in UK programming. Featuring categories for directors, producers, film makers, writers, camerawork, editors, music, graphics as well as overall digital creativity. Historically the awards have been used to highlight excellence in regional programming and in recent years the categories have expanded to recognise the growing importance of other forms of digital media to the region.

The Gala Awards Ceremony will take place at The Cinema De Lux on the 16th February 2012, with a judging panel drawn from The BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky.

And in case you missed it here’s the film we produced:
