Our MD’s 24 hour video marketing trip to Romania

03rd May 2018

Two Facebook Live broadcasts, one 2-hour presentation and a whistlestop tour of the vibrant city of Cluj, Romania. It’s all in a day’s work for our MD, Jon Mowat who was invited to share insights from his new Video Marketing Strategy book with members of the International Advertising AgencyYoung Professional (IAA YP) in Cluj last week.

The title of Jon’s talk was “Video: the new king of content” in which he covered a huge range of ground from the theories explaining the power of video marketing to strategies for harnessing that power for your brand or client, as well as his formula for effective video campaigns.

IAA YP has over 1,000 members around the world, and the branch in Cluj was established in 2009, bringing marcomms professionals together to share expertise.

Jon said:

“What an awesome trip! It was a pleasure to be invited to speak at this event and share video marketing tips with such a switched-on audience. After writing my Video Strategy book, it’s been exciting to get out there to share my formula for video success first-hand, from understanding the psychology of video to practical ways to improve ROI.

“Thanks to the International Advertising Agency for having me at their event in Cluj and for looking after me so well. I hope I’ve inspired the brands and agencies who came along to get strategic with video and achieve better results.”

Andrei Tiganas President of IAA Young Professionals Cluj, Romania told us:

“Jon’s masterclass relating to video marketing in Cluj, Romania was embraced by over 100 professionals. The content delivered by Jon was valuable with a wide range of examples that triggered our attention and interest. The Q&A session also went very well and the feedback we got from the audience exceeded all expectations.”
