Airbus (Defence and Space) – putting the emotion into technology

We were asked to create a video marketing campaign to reposition Airbus (Defence and Space). And we’re really proud of what we achieved.

Our video marketing campaign created and seeded an emotionally engaging film, and ensured that the video hit a number of specific verticals including oil & gas, agriculture, defence and the environment.

Hurricane Media got bigger

Hurricane has grown in 2013! We said hello to the lovely Laura (on the right), our new production assistant, and to Dan Jones (centre), our editing assistant (whose enthusiasm bowled us over).

We love Bristol

Bristol is a wonderful base for a creative company the likes of Hurricane Media, and we’re so excited that the city has won theEuropean Green Capital Award 2015. We already love working with local, ambitious projects such as See No Evil, and were so proud to work on the trailer for Encounters short film festival this year. Roll on next year in Bristol…

Financial services can be fun?

OK, financial services and fun aren’t phrases you tend to see together. But we wanted to show it could be done and worked with Dare and Barclaycard earlier this year for an April Fool’s teaser video.

Never work with animals…? No problem we say! By early on April 1st, the video had racked up 20,000 views and is now over at over 300,000 views. Read more about our how to make a video go viral.

New edit suite

Our new edit suite got up and running this year. The suite is equipped with all the gear we need for video editing, motion graphics and 3D design. It’s also a change from the rest of the studio as it’s PC based rather than a Mac as we wanted to pack a punch of processing power.

Namechecking Santa

And of course we meet Santa this year whilst filming a TV advert for Telford Shopping Centre. Check us out!
